Capgemini feels like the 'creative' version of the big IT firms. They have a really strong design and user-experience wing (Frog) that makes their technical projects actually look and feel modern. They actually care about the person using the software, not just the code.

Their engineering and R&D side (from the Altran acquisition) is world-class. If you’re doing something with smart manufacturing or IoT, Capgemini is probably the smartest group in the room.

The billing is a bit complex and hard to track. We kept getting 'adjustment' invoices that nobody could explain. It took a lot of administrative time just to manage the contract, which was a bit of a turn-off.

They are masters of the 'Hybrid Cloud.' They helped us move our messy on-prem servers into a mix of Azure and AWS without any downtime. Their architects really know how to bridge the gap between old-school hardware and modern cloud tech.

Sometimes they can be a bit 'buzzword heavy.' We spent a whole month talking about 'digital synergy' and 'ecosystem orchestration' before we actually started building anything. I wish they’d spend a little less time on the slides and more on the prototypes.
