We love the layout of our house. They really know how to design a floor plan that makes sense for families. The neighborhood is great, and the smart home tech they included actually works better than I expected. No major issues after six months.

Total headache after closing. The drainage in our backyard was a mess—it turned into a lake every time it rained. It took three months of constant emailing to get a warranty person out here, but they finally fixed the grading. Just be prepared to be your own advocate.

America's largest builder. They are fast and affordable, but don't expect a lot of personal attention.

Substandard work on the tile in our master bath. It started 'tenting' and cracking after only a year. Their response was basically 'it's out of warranty,' which is frustrating for a brand-new house. Use a private inspector before you sign anything!

The home buying process was pretty smooth with them. Had a few minor things that needed fixing after we moved in (closet door was squeaky) but they sent a tech within two days to fix it. Happy with the quality so far.
