You get what you pay for. It’s a budget builder, and it shows in the materials. The carpet is already starting to mat in the hallways after just 9 months. It’s a good 'starter' house, but don't expect 'forever home' quality.

My water main ruptured when the house was only six weeks old! It was a disaster. To their credit, Ryan Homes sent a crew out immediately to dry everything out and fix the garage wall, but it was still a terrifying start to homeownership.

I'm a veteran and I felt like they really took care of us during the loan process. The house is warm, quiet, and exactly what we needed. We've been here a year and haven't had any major issues at all.

The 'fit and finish' is pretty poor. Doors don't latch quite right and the siding was actually coming loose in one spot. They're quick to make repairs, but you shouldn't have to fix ten things on a brand-new house.
