They aren't really the 'innovators'—you don't hire TCS to invent a new category for you. You hire them to execute a plan perfectly at a reasonable price. If you want blue-sky thinking, go elsewhere; if you want 10,000 lines of clean code by Friday, they're your best bet.

They are a global powerhouse. Their reliability on massive, long-term infrastructure projects is pretty much unmatched.

Their internal training platform is actually world-class. You can tell their engineers really know their stuff because the company forces them to constantly upskill. It makes a big difference when we’re moving to newer tech like Snowflake or Databricks.

The biggest. Very safe pair of hands for legacy systems. Not the most agile.

Good for 'body shopping' and basic maintenance, but don't expect them to lead your digital strategy. They are great executors, but you need to tell them exactly what you want or they'll just keep doing things the way they've always been done.
