A bit old-school in their approach. They love their own ecosystem (Watson, Red Hat, etc.), and it can be hard to get them to look at outside-the-box solutions that don't involve an IBM product. Reliable, but a bit rigid.

They are the safe bet for enterprise-level security. If you’re in a regulated industry like banking or healthcare, IBM is the only one I’d trust to handle the backend without any leaks. They take compliance very seriously.
