It’s a gamble these days. Our last host was great, but the cleaning fees are getting out of hand.

The cleaning fees are getting a bit out of hand. I stayed for two nights and the fees almost doubled the price of the room. Plus, the host asked me to strip the beds, do the laundry, and take out the trash. What am I paying the fee for?

We only stay at 'Guest Favorites' now. It really filters out the places that have weird vibes or unresponsive hosts. Our last stay in Rome was perfect—right in the middle of everything and super clean.

I love using Airbnb for the unique spots. We stayed in a literal treehouse last weekend in Oregon and it’s an experience we never would’ve found at a hotel.

The place looked way better in the photos than in person. The 'mountain view' was mostly a view of the neighbor's dumpster. It wasn't terrible, but it definitely felt like some creative camera angles were used.
